Project description
Roparu Rozen is a rose-grower family-run company from Wanssum. They produce about 800.000 roses per year especially for the container market. At the moment the business processes are manually documented and reported in Excel sheets, so that it is possible to monitor where the different roses are in the process.
The goal of the SoFa project is to create a system that now digitally records the business processes with help of the RFID technology. RFID tags are then attached to the field rows, rose boxes, repositories and gates that are necessary for the process. The workers can use a handheld with an integrated RFID reader to scan them and so document their current process step. The process documentation should also be possible on a normal computer.
The customers should be able to log in their accounts to have an
overview of the products they ordered and to order new products.
Project process
The development process that is used in the SoFa project is the agile scrum process.
At the beginning of each sprint there is a sprint planning meeting where the goals for the next sprints are defined in the sprint beacklog.
Each day there is a daily scrum meeting that lasts maximal 15 minutes. In that meeting the team members tell what they have done since the last daily scrum meeting, what they expect to do till the next meeting and which problems they have.
After each sprint there is a retrospective meeting where the progress and the problems of the last sprint are discussed.
The product backlog and the sprint backlog are managed by the product owner. He also creates and updates the burndown charts.
The quality an testing standards are defined in the qualityplan of the project.
